Cynthia Morgan has dedicated her life to helping the world to heal. She has been teaching spiritual principles, leading guided meditations, and conducting workshops for 33 years. She is an author, board-certified hypnotherapist, meditation teacher, and founder of Desert Reset retreat, (named #1 on BookRetreats.com “7 Top Yoga retreats in California” and a “Top Pick for 2019” by SeekRetreat.com). Cynthia has been featured in numerous magazines such as Ruush, Australian Natural Health, WellBeing, as well as many popular online sites and blogs. She was the spiritual columnist for ECOLUX Magazine and is a contributing writer to Vegan Health and Fitness Magazine.
Cynthia’s techniques have proven to be highly successful in transforming the lives of thousands, including many of Hollywood's elite, establishing her as one of the most innovative practitioners in the field of hypnotherapy.
Cynthia attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, as well as the Hypnotherapy Academy of America in New Mexico, integrating her considerable background in meditation (Transcendental Meditation since age seven), mind/body healing, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner in 2003) and 30 years of working with A Course in Miracles. She brings her teachings of A Course in Miracles to her weekly podcast "A Course in What?!", which has been translated into a Spanish version, "Un Curso de Que?!", totally over 400,000 downloads worldwide.
In 2013, Cynthia's book You're Already Hypnotized: A Guide to Waking Up was released to five-star ratings.
A longtime vegan and animal rights activist of 30 years, Cynthia is married to Brad Klopman, Desert Reset's Hospitality Manager, and they are thrilled to have relocated to the desert to create transformative experiences for their guests.

Brad left his job as a successful Hollywood documentary film producer (over 20 “Top 10” lists in 2010) to produce a different sort of experience: vacation rental destinations in the Joshua Tree National Park area. His company, The Cohost Company, was recently profiled in Palm Springs Life Magazine. His mission is to ensure excellent service and comfort to guests so they can focus on creating memorable and transformative experiences.
Yoga Nidra & Soma Vega Thai Yoga Therapist, General Retreat Assistance
Sherry first came to Desert Reset as a particpant from Ohio in 2018. She immediately fell in love with the area and relocated. She brings a vast array of talents in Soma Veda Thai Yoga Therapy, yoga teacher training experience, Mysore style Astanga Yoga, and her love of the High Desert and hiking to guests. Coupled with her background in property managment, she creates a fluid, stablilizing energy and an assisting hand to all participants.
Yoga & Breathwork Teacher, General Retreat Assistance
Emily was drawn to the Joshua Tree area in 2017 where she met the man she is married to. Originally from Massachusetts, she moved to the High Desert in 2018. She is a 200 - hour Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor leading students through Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin and Restorative yoga practices. Chanting, meditation and breathwork enrich her practice, and she is trained to provide hands-on assists to help enrich her students’ practice. She is humbled to guide and hold space for students to allow for transformation on and off the mat.
JENN LUCENE SMITH
Yoga & Breathwork Teacher
Before relocating to the desert with her husband in 2012 to open her popular Palm Springs yoga studio, Jenn had a yoga studio in her hometown of Los Angeles. As a highly experienced teacher, her style is an alignment-based Hatha yoga that helps participants learn yoga poses and find their own way to health and well-being. She works with people who are fit and active, as well as those physically limited or injured. After a lifetime struggling with body image issues, Jenn seeks to exemplify self-love and promote acceptance for everybody. Yoga is beyond size.
General Retreat Assistance
Julie grew up in a small country town in Ohio. She moved to the desert with her husband and two kids in 2016. With a plan to only stay a year, the beauty of the Hi-Desert quickly made them realize that it was an amazing place to call home. Julie was a medic in the Army for four years and had a career in healthcare administration for the past decade, specializing in operational and project management. She recently changed her career path and now enjoys working with Brad at The Cohost Company in the bustling Airbnb hospitality industry. She brings her specialized skill set to Desert Reset, helping to facilitate a harmoninous retreat experience.
